The Fountain of Sultan Ahmed III
Take a tiny Turkish trip this week with Zeynep Kınlı’s illustrations of historic and cultural landmarks in Istanbul. The buildings in Zeynep’s “Landmarks of Istanbul” series aren’t simply stark miniatures—she’s added personality and life via visitors walking and running past edifices, as well as a variety of foliage hugging the sides of buildings. That’s one of my favorite details: that the trees aren’t all the same shape.

Hagia Sophia—likely familiar to those who took art history classes.
