Flora Chan seems like the kind of person I’d like to be friends with. Possibly it’s the night-owl humor on her sketchblog, a collection of digital abstractions entitled “I should be sleeping but” and living at “florastaysawake” on Tumblr.
Whatever the case may be, I’m as attracted to these sketches as I am to this NY-based designer’s main portfolio. As a complete aside, let me say that the way Flora has presented her work on her portfolio—as color palettes—is so clever and seductive:
Flora Chan is a recent Parsons grad (c/o 2014!) and a designer at Collins. You can see her design work on her portfolio, and more sketches on her Tumblr. Flora was nominated by Joel Califa; thanks for sharing, Joel!
