Student design work this year is looking pretty badass. While poking around Claire Pedersen’s rock-solid design portfolio, I was particularly impressed with KU Design Week. Claire led a group of eight interdisciplinary designers to create materials for University of Kansas’s first-ever week of designerly events.
The product of their collaboration is a tight, well-considered identity. So jazzed that this is the precedent KU design students are setting:
Other designers on the project include Sydney Goldstein, Lexi Griffith, Katie Whiteman, Lori Novak, John Reynolds, and Patrick Blanchard, with “special thanks to Lucas Nelson, Allie Welch, and Claire Zimmerman for designing the buttons”. If you’re curious exactly how responsibilities break down, check out the project on Behance. And don’t miss the rest of Clare Pedersen’s work—she’s done lovely stuff in identity, print, and UI design.
Hat-tip to Ryan Hubbard for passing this along.
