“The Prestige”

This week’s instant-favorite is Celine Loup, a French-born, US-based illustrator and comics artist. Celine was introduced to me by a big fan of “Honey”, a comic that explores a world ruled by women. You can read the first issue online for free, or buy the printed zine. In the same vein, Celine explores power and gender in this NSWF comic for A.V. Club Comics Week; I would also recommend reading her comments on the backstory for “You Should Know Where You Come From”.

Required reading aside, Celine also does lovely illustration work. I envy what she can do with a teeny brush:
